The Viz comic was launched in 1979 and has become something of a British Institution. The comic might appear much like the Beano or the Dandy; however it is most definitely not for children, featuring adult storylines and bad language. Popular long running characters in the comic include Roger Mellie the man on the Telly, Sid the Sexist, The Fat Slags and Finnbarr Saunders and his double Entendres. This slot pays homage to the comic, featuring three different bonus rounds, each concentrating on separate characters found on the pages of Viz and ‘Sid’s Sexpot’ Jackpot which can be won during the free spins round.
As you would expect, the slot has a distinct cartoon strip feel. Characters from the comic sit above the reels either side of the title, the black and red background bringing ‘Dennis the Menace’ to mind. The symbols on the reels are all in big and bold colours, these a combination of comic pictures and letters and numbers relating to playing card symbols.
