Fruitopolis Fortune Play

Blueprint are one of those workman-like studios that keep releasing solid games. These tend to be a bit short on innovations, but they are hardly bare. With Fruitopolis Fortune Play, we have a combination of classic looks and modern gameplay. The playing board is rather basic, though, featuring just5 reels, 4 rows and 20 paylines. Payouts are for all adjacent, though, so your winning combinations can start on any reel, not just the first one.
The regal background suggests that there’s a lot to look forward to, but the actual themeis based on classic fruit slot machines. The production values are on the average side, too, so don’t expect too many fireworks. It’s all clean and there are a few animations as well, but it’s a far cry from cutting-edge modern slots with animated backgrounds and more.
The slot’s volatility level ishigh, which means that you have to be ready for a few bankroll swings here and there. There’s no clear max win, as the advertised theoretical jackpot of50,000xcan’t really be trusted. It appears in all Blueprint slots, even those with low volatilities and unimpressive symbol payouts. The betting range is wide, though, and you can play for stakes between£0.10and£500. The theoretical RTP of Fruitopolis Fortune Play is always between95.06%and95.38%, which is hardly good.
The symbols of Fruitopolis Fortune Play arecompletely classic. For low pays, there are card ranks from Tens to Aces. These can pay up to 10x your bet for a full set of Aces or Kings, which is nice. The high pays are even better and show cherries, lemons, plums and sevens. Sevens are the top-paying symbols and are worth 25x your bet for a five-of-a-kind combination. With that, it’s fair to say that the symbol payouts are high, which goes hand in hand with the higher volatility level.
There are no Wild symbols, but there aretwo other special symbols in Fruitopolis Fortune Play. These are Mystery symbols and Money Scatters. Mystery symbols can appear in any position and they always reveal matching symbols after the reels stop spinning. Money Scatters, meanwhile, are there to trigger the Money Spins feature.
Land enough Money Scatters and you’ll activatethe Money Spins feature. Here, the triggering Money Scatters will be locked and you’ll get 3 respins to start with. Each Money Scatter that lands resets the tally back to 3, so things can keep going for a while. The feature ends once you run out of respins or once you fill every position on the playing field. Then, you’ll collect all the values in view for a nice payout.
At any point, you can press the Fortune Spins button and triggerthe Fortune Spins mode. This will cost you 20x your bet and the action will take place on 4 playing fields instead of just one. That’s cool, to say the least, but there’s one additional twist as well. All Mystery symbols that land during Fortune Spins are automatically transferred to all the other playing fields as well!
Fruitopolis Fortune Play is a decent Blueprint slot that offersa good combination of Money Spins and Fortune Spins. That’s something for the gameplay fans out there, but, to be objective, we need to add that there are some serious minuses as well. The production values are only average and the theoretical RTP doesn’t even reach the average 96% value at any point. Players that enjoy visual fireworks and classy math models should therefore stay away!
