Onlyplay have already made a few forays into the Crash game niche, but it’s fair to say that we haven’t been particularly impressed by their efforts so far. We’re more than happy togive Limbo Cat a shot, however, as it seems to be somewhat better in at least a couple of respects. Thematically, Limbo Cat featuresa cat with a tank, so we’re getting a fairly funny take on things. We’ve seen some military-themed Crash games before, but this one is keeping things light-hearted to a degree, which will surely please a decent number of players. The production values aren’t particularly impressive, but hey, they do work at the fundamental level.
You can jump into Limbo Cat for stakes between£1and£100per game round, with the overall jackpot apparently standing at10,000xyour bet. That’s quite impressive if true, but we have some really disappointing news as well. You see, the theoretical RTP of Limbo Cat is only94.20%, which is pretty poor.
If you’re yet to play a Crash/Burst casino game, you need to get a brief overview of how things work. Once you load the game up, you’ll get to place your bet or bets for the upcoming game round. Then, the game round will start, and you’ll see the cat’s tank moving forward, with the displayed bet multiplier increasing as it goes on and on. Your objective is to clickthe Take buttonbefore the tank gets destroyed. If you manage to do that, you’ll collect the winnings achieved so far. If you don’t, you’ll have to hope for a better outcome in the next game round.
As is the new standard, you can placeas many as two betsper round in Limbo Cat, which means that you can go for two separate strategies if you want to. That adds a little bit of complexity to things, which is pleasant.
Your usualautoplay and multiplayer featuresare also present in Limbo Cat, but it’s all stuff that we’ve seen before, and we’d certainly like to see Onlyplay stepping up their game in this regard going forward.
Notably, though, there arerandom boxesthat the tank can crush. Whenever that happens, the displayed win multiplier will be multiplied by 1.2x, so you’ll certainly want to see as many of them as possible!
Unfortunately, we aren’t particularly impressed by Limbo Cat, and it’s pretty clear thatthere are many better Crash games out there. It’s nice to see a Crash game with such a funny theme, true, and the random boxes are a nice feature as well, but the low RTP really pulls this game down significantly.
