Temple Frenzy Lightning Chase

Boomerang Studios follows up on their sorcery-themed first release,Lady Merlin Lightning Chase, with a colorful jungle-themed sequel called Temple Frenzy Lightning Chase. The symbols are done in an unusual quirky style, and you’ll join the explorers, Jack Macaque and Tyrus Tiggs, in their adventurous hunt for lost treasures.
The Connecta Ways system simply means that you win by landing symbols from left to right, just as long as the matching symbols touch. The big highlight of this range is, of course, The Lightning Chase Hold & Respin feature, and it comes with a top-tier cash symbol worth 888x your stake. In addition, you have a somewhat exciting bonus round to look forward to, as each spin comes with extra wilds that might build up fully stacked wild reels.
Tyrus Tiggs (the tiger) is the wild symbolin this game, and it appears on the 3 middle reels only. The wild steps in for all regular pay symbols to help you form winning combos, but it holds no value of its own. The premium symbols, with Jack Macaque as the alpha, pays between 4 and 8 x your stake for 5-oak wins.
You need at least6 Tiki mask cash symbolsin view to trigger theThe Lightning Chase Hold & Respin feature. This awards 3 respins for starters, and the triggering cash symbols become sticky. All new cash masks that land become sticky as well, and each new mask resets the respins tally to 3 again.
The cash masks come with values between 1x and 25x, as well as a seldom seencash maskworth888x your stake. A specialGolden Collect symbolcan land to award all values in view immediately. All the collected masks are then removed from the grid, making room for more to land, and this Collect symbol also resets the respins counter to 3 again.
You need at least3 scatterson the 3 middle reels to trigger the Bonus Round, and this awards12 free spinsfor starters. The feature can be retriggered indefinitely, and you getextra wild symbolsadded to reels 2, 3 and 4 per spin during the feature. This can lead to stacked wilds on the 3 middle reels, and you can trigger the Hold & Respin feature also from within the bonus round.
We trigger the Lightning Chase Hold & Respin feature right at the start of the 4 and a half minute highlights video. The bonus round is triggered around 2:23, and you can see it all for yourself by hitting the play button below.
Temple Frenzy Lightning Chase sticks out with quirky and colorful visuals, as well as decent animations and a lively explorer duo. We’re glad to see that the whole Boom+ Ante Bet feature has been dropped completely in this follow-up release from Boomerang. It divided Lady Merlin Lightning Chase into two completely different games, where only the Boom+ version was worth your while.
The Hold & Respin feature comes with an elusive 888x cash coin, but keep in mind that these symbols usually range between 1x and 25x. The feature also sticks out a bit because of the Collect symbol, which also clears the grid to make room for more cash prizes. Nothing too extraordinary though, but you also get a decent bonus round which can give you some thrilling wild stack moments.
