Spring Heeled Jack

Blue Guru Games is obviously not afraid of going unconventional ways when it comes to choice of theme, and Spring Heeled Jack is based on a somewhat obscure British folklore character from Victorian era London. He terrified citizens with his high jumps and devilish appearance, and soon became the stuff of legends after he was first observed in 1837.
He jumps around on the reels in the bonus round, basically summing up the multiplying multiplier symbols that are part of the same win line. The atmosphere is bleak and filled with mystery, and syncing mystery stacks abound in all stages as well. Everything is enhanced in the bonus round, and you can winup to 15,587x your stake.
The character premium symbols pay between 1 and 2 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins, and there areno wild symbolsin this game. You getMystery Symbolson the 3 middle reels however, and these fill the entire reel when they land. Instead of revealing a random symbol, the mystery stacks sync with the reel to the left.
You can land pay symbols withx2, x3 and x5 multipliersattached in the base game, and these will boost any win they are a part of. If more than one multiplier symbol is part of the same win, the multiplier values are multiplied together before being applied.
TheJumping Jack Bonus Roundtriggers from3, 4 or 5 scattersin view, and this gives you10, 12 or 15 free spins, respectively. You can get up to 3 mystery symbols on the 3 middle reels, like in the base game, and the symbol multipliers are upgraded with the possibility ofup to x10 multipliers per symbol.
You can expect more frequent multiplier symbols in the bonus round, and they also tend to land with higher values than in the base game. You will see Jack leap from multiplier symbol to multiplier symbol, summing up their values, if more than one is part of the same winning line. You can retrigger the bonus round, and non-UK players canbuy the featurefor50x the stake. This decreases the RTP a tad, to 95.95 %.
You get to see some multiplier symbol wins in the base game, before we purchase the bonus round. It starts around 1:30 into the 8:30-minute highlights video, and we got plenty of retriggers to keep the feature going for a good while as you probably understand from the length of the video. Anyway, you can check it all out by hitting the play button below.
At first glance, we thought this was another Sherlock Holmes installment, but Spring-heeled Jack is actually a far more obscure Victorian age character in British folklore. Kudos to the storytelling Blue Guru Games for going with such an unusual oddity, and the visual presentation is solid as well. The foggy streets of London sets the tone perfectly for the mystery to play out.
Both mystery symbols and multiplier symbols abound in all stages of the game, but don’t count on massive wins just because you rack up a solid multiplier. The symbol values are relatively low, but we have no complaints about the15,587x potential(except perhaps the 1 in 1 billion hit rate). Retriggering the bonus round was not a problem in our test session at least, and Spring Heeled Jack is well worth checking out if you want something a bit out of the ordinary.
