Leprechaun Heist

We know that Blue Guru Games loves storytelling, and Leprechaun Heist is inspired by the fact that one of the team members has Irish American relatives that escaped from Alcatraz in 1962. They are still wanted by the FBI, but have managed to live in freedom by the grace of their Irish Luck. You get thrown right into the bank robbing action as this game starts, and the base game plays out as the 3 robbers are getting ready to storm the building.
It’s a refreshing take on the Leprechaun genre for sure, not leasts since there are no actual Leprechauns to be found in this game. The game comes with a pay anywhere system and tumble wins, and consecutive wins trigger up to 3 modifiers from the Bullet Level Ups Meter seen on the right. The bonus round comes with multiplier symbols up to x5, and you can winup to 6,706x your stake. Leprechaun Heist is well worth checking out, and it’s hard not to enjoy a good heist slot (same goes for heist movies by the way).
You win by landing between 8 and 25+ matching symbols anywhere in view, and 8 symbol wins pay between 0.1 and 1 x your stake. Landing wins with 25+ symbols award between 3 and 30 x your stake, and this game comes withWild symbolsthat step in for pay symbols to create and/or improve wins. The wilds do not land organically, however, but come in the form of a feature we’ll explore below.
TheTumble Wins mechanickicks in after each win, which means that the winning symbols are removed and replaced by new and/or existing symbols dropping down from above. This process goes on as long as you keep winning, effectively giving you indefinite extra wins per paid spin. You will also see that a bullet is added to the meter on the right-hand side per scatter win.
You get a so-calledAmmo Level Upfor every 4th bullet you collect in the same tumble sequence, and 16 bullets fill the whole meter. Here is an overview of how it works:
As mentioned already, theHeist Free Games Bonus Roundgives you8 free spins, and the big difference from the base game is that symbols may land withmultiplier values between x2 and x5. The Ammo Level Ups feature is active in the bonus round as well, and filling the meter with 16 wins gives you+5 extra spins. Non-UK players, and anyone eligible, maybuy the bonus roundfor75x the stake. The bonus buy RTP is 96 %.
You get a decent taste of the base game, before we purchase the bonus round at 0:55 into the 6-minute highlights video. You get to see plenty of modifier action, and we managed to get extra spins as well. Hit the play button below the check it all out for yourself, and to get a nice overview of what this game is about.
First of all, it’s great to see an Irish themed slot without any Leprechauns and other cliches, despite the title Leprechaun Heist. We also like the tilted angle you get outside the bank that’s about to be robbed, but it’s a bit weird that the bank robbers just stand there. Are they waiting for the starting gun or what? Anyway, the Ammo Level Ups system keeps the base game interesting, and it can lead to decent to solid payouts in all stages of the game.
The heist is on when the bonus round triggers, and you’re then taken inside the bank vault. The bank robber characters look as mean and Irish as it gets, and the babyfaced dynamite dude is apparently the leader of the gang. The multiplier symbols you get in the bonus round increases your win cap chances, and the6,706x potentialis pretty solid all things considered. The spin pace could’ve been better, but overall Leprechaun Heist is a pretty entertaining release that sticks out from anything else in the Irish Luck genre.
